God made all women beautiful in some way. We tend to put unreal expectations on ourselves. Sit down, pour yourself a cup of your favorite beverage and think about this:





Women have strengths that amaze men.
They carry children, they carry hardships, they carry burdens
but they hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry. They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous. They fight for what they believe in. They stand up for injustice. They don't take "no" for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without new shoes so their children can have them. They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.Thank you, Cathy!
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel GO Patti! and cheer when their friends get awards. They are happy when they hear about a birth or a new marriage.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

Women come in all sizes, in all colors and shapes. They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what makes the world spin! Women do more than just give birth. They bring joy and hope. They give compassion and ideals. They give moral support to their family and friends.

Women have a lot to say and a lot to give!

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.

For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone.

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anybody.

With Age Comes Wisdom

After a while you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul.

And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning, and company doesn't mean security.

And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts, and presents aren't promises.

And you begin to accept your defeats with your head held high and your eyes open, with the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child.

And you learn to build your roads on today, because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans, and futures have a way of falling down in midflight.

After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much so you plant your own garden, and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.

And you learn that you really can endure that you really are strong and you really do have worth and you learn and learn with every goodbye you learn.

Below is a Poem that was sent to me in email. It is so touching. (I think it might have been written by Susan Pawlishen in 1998, but I'm not sure.)
Last night, as I sat there and I started to cry
my wings were all broken and I just couldn't fly
all the others were flying around and around
but for me, I couldn't I remained on the ground
My wings were so bad all rusted and torn
from anger and hate to arrogance and scorn
They wouldn't even flap being so out of repair
but the thing that hurt most is no one did care
I just sat there alone watching all others fly
not even getting up or attempting to try
But then one moment God was gracious to me
he sent me a friend as I prayed on my knees
Her wings were pure white and her features aglow
she was very strong which I soon came to know
she picked me right up and flew to the highest mountain top
I was really nervous 'cause there, she did stop
she told me, "now fly" but "I can't" I said back
"It's not your wings that are broken it's just confidence you lack"
I turned around and looked to check out my wings
they looked so torn those pitiful things
"I'll catch you" she said if you start to fall
"just yell out my name" and I'll hear your call
So I took a running start attempting to soar
exhilaration went through me like never before
"I'm flying!" I exclaimed
higher than kings
"I'm flying Al,
flying with broken wings.




Remember the four simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
Happiness is there, waiting for you to find it, expect it to happen.

No one can go back and make a brand new start. Anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending. When something happens to you, good or bad, consider what it means. There's a purpose to life's events, to teach you how to laugh more or not to cry too hard. You can't make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved; the rest is up to the person to realize your worth. It's better to lose your pride to the one you love, than to lose the one you love because of pride. We spend too much time looking for the right person to love or Finding fault with those we already love, when instead we should be perfecting the love we give. Never abandon an old friend. You will never find one who can take his or her place. Friendship is like wine, it gets better as it grows older, this is true.



A PHENOMINAL WOMAN  by Maya Angelou

  When I was in my younger days,
 I weighed a few pounds less,
 I needn't hold my tummy in
 to wear a belted dress.
  But now that I am older,
 I've set my body free;
 There's comfort of elastic
 Where once my waist would be.
  Inventor of those high-heeled shoes
 My feet have not forgiven;
 I have to wear a nine now,
 But used to wear a seven.
  And how about those pantyhose--
 They're sized by weight, you see,
 So how come when I put them on

  I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.
  I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents,
you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.
  I've learned that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life."
  I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
  I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands.
You need to be able to throw something back.
  I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.
  I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.
  I've learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone.
  People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.
  I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
  I've learned that people will forget what you said,
people will forget what you did,
but people will never forget how you made them feel.
  Please send this to five phenomenal women today. If you do, something good will happen...........   You will boost another woman's self esteem.   If you don't ...the elastic will break and your panty hose will fall down around your ankles.
